Garth Fagan Dance, established in 1970, is the region’s leading artist-led, predominately Black cultural institution that develops young dancers, especially those of color. Mr. Fagan has taught more than 100 million audience members to move as one global community through Disney’s “The Lion King” on Broadway. Under the newly-appointed leadership of Norwood Pennewell and Natalie Rogers-Cropper, the company stands as a beacon of innovation and artistic excellence in contemporary dance.
