A relaxed performance is designed to make the theater experience more comfortable and accessible for everyone, especially individuals who may benefit from a less formal environment. This includes people with sensory sensitivities, autism, learning disabilities, or anyone who might feel overwhelmed in a traditional show setting.
During a relaxed performance, we adjust certain elements of the show, such as reducing loud sounds and avoiding abrupt lighting changes. Audience members are welcome to move around, leave, or re-enter the theater as needed. We also extend a more flexible approach to entering the venue, allowing extra time for settling in before the show starts.This performance has been generously supported by the Golisano Foundation.
